And finally it's here, my first weekend off without work this month. Althought the extra money will surely come in handy, the stress and lack of time sure kept me on my toes. Guess who's going to be sleeping in tomorrow?

I've finally gotten around to getting myself a tablet and am absolutely loving to just play around with it. Although I'm far from good with it, I'm just happy to have another little toy to play with and thought "why not also bring this hobby to SL?" and thus, here I am, using the tablet.
As I said, I'm really far from good with it, but I had so much fun working on this specific picture.

My Bedroom

Slink has finally come out with their Bento hands, and they are amazing. They are smooth and lacking weird edges and come with built in idle animations which is just awesome. Although, no matter what I do, the hands are either appearing too big or look too small, but this may just be me. They are a free update for people who had already bought Slink hands, and absolutely amazing.
With this new update also came Astralias new Mainstore release, a beautiful set of detailed nails which will act as a base for future add-ons. This means that Any future 3D mesh add-ons for slink by Astralia requires these base nails. Which, to be quite honest, for they level of detail, they are absolutely stunning from the get-go. As if this isn't enough, if you get them from the store, you get 6 completely Free palettes for the nail polish.
Honestly? I love it.

To keep my "inspiration" train going, today I found out that K-Flay came out with a new song. Now if you've been around with me for a while, you might know that K-Flay is about one of my favorite artists of all time, so I've been addicting on this song all day, to the point I had to let it bleed into SL... ahha, no pun intended.
Of course, Chemical Princess didn't stay behind with providing me a means of portraying this inspiration, so there we go. Talking about Chemical Princess, don't forget to check out the store for fresh new group gifts, they are amazing!

I'm going to be honest with you, I have been watching a let's Play on this absolutely amazing Text Based RPG which is so amazing, which ultimately inspired this picture. It's creepy, it's dark, it's mysterious and it forces one to think which, tbh, is right down my lane.
I still adore the fact that SL can be influenced by what we are doing in RL to a point where both converge, and I for one am always happy to find new inspirations outside of SL to bring into my pictures.

I've been so incredibly busy in RL lately that I have to admit I haven't been able to visit many events, so I'm basically running on things I've had in my inventory for a while. It's fun working like this as well, since I'm finding such cute little treasures like these arm bracelets, or the lipstick.
Although I did take the time to go to DUEs 4th Anniversary Sale. Such cute hairs!

Another Friend of Mine

I'm going to say this about this picture: this is a therapeutic picture or me fighting against my fears. Believe it or not, I'm terrified of horses, especially their eyes, however I know that this is a silly fear that should not be even part of my life (like quite a few others). The sight alone of a horse lets me shudder, so I struggled quite a bit working on this picture, so I apologize if it's not the best...
I'm proud I managed to finish it without shuddering excessively. Yay for small steps!
